Cinnamon-Almond Syrup presented by Canyon Road Inn

1 1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
2/3 cup white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 Tablespoon butter
Combine sugar, water, corn syrup and cinnamon.
Boil for 2 minutes; remove from heat.
Add milk, almond & butter; stir until blended.
Serve warm over French toast, waffles or pancakes.
