Brownies and Bars Recipes
Running the gamut from cake to fudge-like consistencies, brownies offer a denser flavor experience than cake. They are often made of chocolate but can vary with peanut butter, butterscotch, nuts, cream cheese or other ingredients. Not a big fan of chocolate? Try its cousin called a 'blondie' made from brown sugar and no chocolate. Make sure to have your milk or coffee in hand to wash down the intense flavor! On a weight loss program? Try substituting butter with plain yogurt. Brownies are also great served warm with ice cream.
