Blue Lake Ranch is surrounded by beautiful old pinon trees which produce a cornucopia of nuts in the fall. They add a distinct and delicious southwest flavor and texture to pancakes.

Any pancake mix (follow instructions for 10 people)
1 cup or two (be generous) pinon (or pignolia) nuts
ONLY real maple syrup please!

Mix batter per instructions package. Add pinon nuts and fold in. Cook and serve.
