2 teaspoons plus 1 tablespoon extra light olive oil
2 pears washed, havled lengthwise, core scooped out
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
pinch of nutmeg
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
Plain yogurt
Preheat oven to 350. Coat a 13 x 9 shallow baking dish with 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Arrange pears, cut side down, in baking dish and bake 25 minutes. Meanwhile combine the flour, brown sugar, and nutmeg in a bowl; drizzle with remaining olive oil and blend with fork until crumbly. Add the almonds. Turn the baked pears cut side up. Sprinkle with the almond mixture. Return to oven and bake until pears are tender and crumbs are browned, about 20 minutes. Top with a little yogurt and fresh strawberries.
Enjoy!
