Lenore's Secret Biscotti Recipe presented by Albergo Allegria Bed & Breakfast Email this page to a Friend
Mix together:

1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
3 tbsp. almond extract

Mix in (Until dough detaches from side of bowl):
3 1/2 to 4 cups flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. anise seed
3/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds

Shape into 3-4 loaves. Bake on greased sheet at 375 degrees for 30 minutes (or until fawn colored). Slice diagonally while warm. Enjoy!
