Applegate Bed & Breakfast - Lee, Massachusetts
Drive through the iron gates where a circular drive leads you to the 4-pillared portecochere of this Georgian colonial estate home. Applegate is set on 6 acres of manicured lawns and gardens amid mature apple trees and towering pines with views of the Berkshire Hills. Each distinctive guest room has its own bath; some have fireplaces and over-sized canopy beds. Breakfast is served in the dining room where candles flicker invitingly from silver candlabras amidst crystal stemware and antique dishware. Quietly private, yet Applegate is in the heart of the Berkshires-minutes from all the activities and attractions the Berkshires are known for.
