Upland Bird Hunting: The Grounds And The Experience

Years ago, western Pennsylvania sportsmen enjoyed farms with great cover and the diligent hunter was rewarded with ring necks in his game bag. This experience is now available at Willow Pond Farm. We offer an exciting and challenging hunt in beautiful surroundings. At Willow Pond Farm, we are blessed with an excellent mixture of fields and woodlands which provide an excellent variety of cover enabling us to offer a challenging hunting experience. The farm is stocked with strong-flying game birds providing a quality hunt. Our well-trained pointing dogs and guides will provide an outstanding, memorable experience. Bird Hunting

Chuck Groff, Manager

Chuck Groff comes to us from Confluence, PA as an avid hunter with more than 35 years experience, including time spent as a hunter-trapper education instructor for the PA Game Commission, a sporting clays trapper with the prestigious Shooting Academy at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa. Chuck is also a partner with On Point Outfitters, LLC.

Regulations
  • Minimum of 4 pheasants or 6 chukar released per hunter.
  • All hunters must be at least 12 years of age and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult 21 years of age or older.
  • Safe handling of firearms must be practiced at all times and no drugs or alcohol is permitted prior to or during the hunt.
  • Upland Bird Hunting reserves the right to cut short any hunt due to conditions or actions that we consider unsafe.
  • All persons in the hunt must sign a release form.
  • Other persons may be using the facility at the same time for other activities. Be considerate of others.
  • You must stay within assigned areas.
  • 250 square inches of flourescent orange ID required!
