About Your Hosts

Keith and Kathy consider hosting guests, many from around the world, a privilege. Neither Keith nor Kathy speaks a language other than English, however, they always manage to convey a big welcome to everyone.

Keith and Kathy were born and raised in Lancaster County. They are parents of four daughters and two foster sons. Kathy is the B&B hostess as well as a full time homemaker. Keith's primary job is that of an operator of a "country elevator" which is located on the farm. We store corn and wheat in our elevator. The cows in the barn are Keith's therapy. He loves to show them to the guests and introduce "Herbie" his bull to everyone. The cows plus a few caps comprise the livestock.

Besides the family, farm, elevator and B&B, Keith's great love is flying the family airplane, a Cessna 182. The Vogts have traveled as far north as Prince Edward Island (Canada), Puerto Rico, and San Diego in the airplane. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading, sewing, and collecting "things."
