Built in 1868, our house is at the center of a 26-acre working farm. Pick one of our three porches, sit back and watch time go by.

Yes, we do greet our guests at the back door because we believe back door guests are best. Our back door is your doorway to a wonderful experience!

Garden Come in the back door and you will find yourself in the large farm kitchen of this century old Mennonite farmhouse. Sometimes you can smell the bread baking or see Kathy and the girls canning summer fruits and vegetables for the family's winter use. There is a large, inviting living room with a fireplace, balcony, and porches for your sitting pleasure. Snacks and beverages are available outside your room 24 hours a day to enjoy while you bask in the beauty of your surroundings.

Porch

Keith and Kathy Vogt, of the Vogt Farm Bed & Breakfast, have 20 years experience as innkeepers and pampering their guests.

Kathy just delights helping guests plan their day's adventures, and she might suggest a visit to an Amish family or even dinner with them, or perhaps a back roads drive with some out of the way stops.

Maybe you'll just opt to sit on the back porch with morning paper and relax.

The bedrooms have been comfortably decorated by Kathy using family antiques and other treasures. All rooms feature Air conditioning, TV/VCR, Private Phone, DataPort, Wireless Internet, and Terry Robes & Slippers. Each guest room is named for people who bought life to the farmhouse in previous generations. We even have a photo album with pictures of the property from early 1900.

A delicious full breakfast is served each morning. The breakfasts served on the farm are always different and everything is homemade. They reflect Kathy's love of cooking and interest in varying the ordinary. Kathy spends a great deal of time to see that breakfast is the highlight of your day.

Guest Room

Vogt Farm makes a wonderful setting for small weddings. Kathy and Keith have experience doing weddings and would welcome making yours special.
