Introduction

The Steiger House Bed and Breakfast - Mercersburg, Pennsylvania The Steiger House Bed and Breakfast has been refurbished throughout. There are four guest quarters, all with private baths and in-room phones with data ports. Handmade and antique furnishings provide comfortable surroundings for our guest's enjoyment and relaxation. Common rooms on the first floor are provided for reading, watching TV or listening to a CD, and for friendly conversation with other guests. A full breakfast for all guests is offered between 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. each morning. Complimentary wine, tea or coffee is offered as well.

There are several restaurants and eating establishments in Mercersburg, available to suit every taste. The James Buchanan Pub and Restaurant and the McKinstry restaurant are both only a short walk from our front door. The Main Street Cafe, Romeo's Pizza and Al's Pizza are all also within walking distance. Within driving distance, the Foot of the Mountain Restaurant is nearby, as well as the Antrim House Restaurant and Casey's Bar and Grill, both in Greencastle, Pennsylvania.

Rates and Information
  • Rates: $95 - $135
  • Pennsylvania sales tax of 6% and Franklin County room tax of 3% are applicable.
  • For business guests, fax and copying facilities are available.
  • WI-FI wireless internet access is available if your laptop utilizes Centrino technology.
  • A credit card is required to make a reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. For those wishing to make a reservation without a credit card, we will hold a room for five days, pending arrival of a check for the full amount of the expected cost of the reservation.
  • Cancellations more than 5 days prior to arrival are made without penalty. A minimum room charge of $25.00 + tax is withheld from reservations cancelled within five days of the arrival date. No shows and cancellations made on the arrival date will be charged the full room rate plus tax.
  • Check-in is after 2:00 p.m., Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
  • Sorry, but we are unable to accept pets.
