Introduction

Speedwell Forge B & B, is almost 250 years old! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and filled with antique furniture, crystal chandeliers, and fine linens, it reflects the historic elegance of an age gone by. Hidden in a secluded valley on a 120-acre farm, it is the perfect place to get away from it all, yet it's only minutes to the historic towns of Lititz, Manheim, and the rest of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
                                            

Dining Room
Dining Room 		Speedwell Forge B&B offers three guest rooms and two private cottages: the Paymaster's Office, overlooking the creek, is a Victorian-style building with a vaulted ceiling, huge fireplace, and in-room whirlpool bath; and the Summer Kitchen Suite, which is two stories and sleeps four, is perfect for families, groups, and business travelers. Both cottages have a kitchenette, making them ideal for longer stays. Business travelers will also appreciate our free local calls, free wifi Internet access, flexible checkout and cancellation policies.

In the morning, a full three-course breakfast is served on fine china under a crystal chandelier. In the evening, save room for our fresh-baked desserts. All guests have access to the parlor, library, and game room. All rates are "rack rates." We occasionally offer specials, especially mid-week and during the winter.

So come to Speedwell Forge to celebrate your honeymoon, anniversary, or any of life's special moments. From hiking to bird watching, from baking pretzels to buying chocolate, Speedwell Forge and Lancaster County will be the vacation you always dreamed of.
