Historic Smithton Inn

Every guest room is big and bright with a working fireplace and a sitting area with leather upholstered chairs, writing desk, and reading lamps. Most beds have canopies, soft goose down pillows, and handmade Pennsylvania Dutch quilts. Feather beds are stored in antique blanket chests and must be requested in advance before the rooms are made up.

All rooms have traditional white walls with a dominant color and name used elsewhere. Every room has fresh flowers, chamber music, optional candle lighting, nightshirts, and a mini-refrigerator. Bathrooms are immaculate with polished porcelain, some with whirlpool tubs.

Historic Smithton Inn also offers a three-room suite featuring a snack room, parlor with a working fireplace, bedroom with a queen canopy bed, and a generous bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower.

• Room rates: $95 to $145 double occupancy.
• Suite: $145 to $175.
• Featherbeds available, but must be requested at least a day before arrival.
• Reservations are prepaid. Weekend & holiday reservations sometime require 2-day stay.
• The Inn is open all year including holidays.
• Mannerly children and pets are welcome by prior arrangement only.
• Smoking is prohibited.
• Guests must register at the Inn between 3:30 and 7:30 pm.
• Provisions for late arrival up to 9:30 pm must be made by prior arrangement.
• Visa and Mastercard accepted.
• Refunds are only made when reservation cancelled 13 days prior to date of reservation.
• Rates include a full breakfast in the dining room.
• It may be possible for guests, if interested, to dine with an Amish family, if we have at least a weeks notice.
