Welcome to the 20th century. This large burgundy brick house was built circa 1928 on the site of the old town tannery. Relax on the 1940's porch glider. Meet friends in the vintage living room. Enjoy the continental breakfast at your convenience in the early century kitchen. Stay for the week. We'll be your comfortable, affordable home base. Take day-trips to Washington DC, Northern VA, Harper's Ferry, Baltimore, Harrisburg, Lancaster's Amish country, or Hershey. Come stay in the winter when things are quiet and the rates are extra low! Go Christmas shopping at the outlets,the quaint downtown shops or the many antique shops and co-ops, walk to the Gettysburg square for New Year's Eve celebrations. There are 2 ski resorts with in 30 minutes. Golf seems to be a year round sport here. Don't forget Valentine's getaways!
