| The Olde Square Inn, located on the square in the friendly town of Mount Joy, is a wonderful centerpiece to the heartland appeal of Lancaster County. A treasury of quaint shops and restaurants line Main Street. The inn is situated a mere stone's throw away from the Susquehanna River and picturesque Amish Farms. The towns of Hershey and Gettysburg, with all their attractions, are close by. |

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Always has been and always will be. I love starting your day off with freshly brewed coffee, chilled juice, fragrant sticky buns and muffins, fresh fruit in season, plus a delicious hot entrée. You may enjoy your breakfast in our formal dining room or in warm weather, take a tray to the porch or back patio by the pool. We often are asked for a recipe of the dish we are serving. The most requested recipe of The Olde Square Inn is something called Baked Oatmeal. It is a Lancaster County dish, and I have my very own twist on it. I have yet to meet anyone who isn't from Lancaster County, or has never visited here before, with knowledge of this dish. We love to share recipes and this is one you'll want to take home with you. |
