Introduction

The Lexington House is a superior Bed & Breakfast located in the wonderful town of New Hope in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The Lexington House has designed its entire guest experience around two main themes:
ELEGANCE and LUXURY.

We provide a unique and serene environment for you to enjoy.

Peace and quiet close to town!

We have six guestrooms in our circa 1749 main house, each with private bath and air conditioning. Although elegantly decorated and filled with antiques, we are casual and relaxed. We want you to feel as if you are visiting an old friend at their luxurious country estate.

The Lexington House sits on 4 beautifully landscaped acres, five minutes from the center of New Hope, and boasts the 1749 main house, a carriage house from the same period, and a pool complex built in the ruins of an old stone barn.

Sumptuous breakfasts!
Breakfast at The Lexington House is a special affair. Each morning, we have coffee ready at 7:30 for the early risers. We offer a combination hot and cold buffet breakfast, including home-baked breads and muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, juices, cereals, yogurt and one hot entree (Banana French Toast, pumpkin pancakes and California Casserole are just some of the selections) from 8:30 until 10:00.

We always have homemade snacks for our guests, as well as a variety of sodas and water.

In addition, there are several interesting outbuildings, including:

A Stone Springhouse, where the early settlers took advantage of the cold water rising to the surface to keep their dairy products cool. They arranged the stone floor to divert the water around the inside walls of the springhouse, and would keep crockery filled with milk, butter, etc. in the cold spring. There was at one time a second floor where they would churn the butter and store some vegetables.
A Stone Smokehouse, where meats would be cured for storage over the winter. Two small windows were added at some time in the past, and this building is now serving a very useful purpose as a toolshed (and a favorite backdrop for our guests' photo opportunities).
