Welcome to the charming home of Marian and Chet Miller, proprietors of The Lavender Patch Bed and Breakfast in Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This lovely home is filled with beautiful yet comfortable furniture, artwork by local artists Freiman Stoltzfus, Susie Riehl and Elizabeth Hess, hand-painted decorative walls, floors and furniture, and seasonal fresh flowers to awaken your senses. |

Breakfast and afternoon tea ...
Marian will delight you with her delicious, hot breakfasts and exquisite afternoon teas, both of which can be served in the garden gazebo by the outdoor pool, or in the formal dining room of her home. Served in high afternoon fashion in her formal dining room, Marian will pamper and impress you with her sizable collection of fine china, crystal, silver, and layers of linens. In pleasant weather, this afternoon tea can be served to you in the garden while you relax and listen to the waterfall that spills into their pond, built from rocks found along the nearby Susquehanna River. Feel free to enjoy the pool or hot tub under the stars, as well. Location ... The Miller home is conveniently situated within walking distance of the quaint, historic town of Marietta and the Susquehanna River, which offers incredible views, hiking trails, and fishing. In Lancaster County, you will find inexpensive local greenhouses, quilt and fabric shops, Dutch Country bakeries, and tours of Historic or Amish interest. Guest Bedrooms ... Each of the three bedrooms is unique unto itself, with a private bath, central air conditioning, and cable TV with VCR. The Lavender Patch also offers its guests Internet access. Smoking is permitted outside only. No pets are allowed, but children are welcome. Check in starts at 4 PM unless previous arrangements have been made with Chet or Marian. Check out is 11 AM. Prices are based on two-person occupancy for each room and range from $115 - $125 per night. A $10 per person fee will be added for any additional guest(s) in the room. Corporate rates are available for extended stays during the business week.
