Wine Tour of Brandywine Valley
Lush leafy vineyards, barrel filled cellars, charming tasting rooms, and world class wines await you in the rolling hills and scenic countryside of the Brandywine Valley. With a two night stay at our Bed and Breakfast, you can purchase a Wine Trail passport from your hosts and explore seven wineries. The cost is only $20.00 per person (an $84.00 value) in addition to the cost of your room and includes your passport and two souvenir wine glasses to take home. These family operated vineyards and wineries are diverse in size and style but united by a desire to make brilliant and distinct wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the Brandywine Valley. The wineries include: Twin Brook Winery -2/3 classic European vinifera and the remainder French hybrid vines, Folly Hill Vineyards, Va La Vineyards - offers award-winning wines made from rare varieties and unusual blends, Chaddsford Winery - nationally acclaimed winery on small scenic estate produces 30,000 cases of wine annually, Kreutz Creek Vineyards, Paradocx Vineyard - an independent vinifera and premium hubrid wine grape grower, and Smithbridge Cellars - specializes entirely in European vinifera.

The wineries of The Brandywine Valley Wine Trail are all located within a 30 minute drive of each other and near other Brandywine Valley attractions like Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, the Brandywine River Museum, and other fine restaurants and antique shops. Make a weekend of it or save your passport and come back to visit us. Your passport is good for a year. Please note that most wineries are open on weekends only.

The Brandywine Sampler Coupon Book offers free admission to some of the most popular Brandywine Valley attractions. These include Longwood Gardens, Winterthur a Dupont Country Estate, Brandywine River Museum (Wyeth Museum), Hagley Museum, Brandywine Battlefield, QVC studios, Delaware Museum of Natural History, American Helicopter Museum, and in Philadelphia Ride the Ducks. Also included is one free admission for a movie at the Colonial Theatre, a classic turn of the century theatre. If you paid for admission the total would be over $84.00 per person. The coupon book also offers discounts at wineries and restaurants. With so much to do nearby, you'll definitely want to spend more than a couple of days with us.

Stay with us any 4 consecutive nights during the week and receive 2 coupon books absolutely free. That is over $160.00 in valuable coupons, excluding the restaurant discounts.

Stay with us any 3 consecutive nights during the week and receive 1 coupon book free, a value of over $80.00. You may purchase a second book for only $27.00

Stay with us for two nights and purchase coupon books for $27.00 each. Coupon books are good through December 31, 2008 so even if you can't stay three or four nights, save your books and come back again. The Brandywine Valley is beautiful and has something special to do during all four seasons of the year.

Why save romance for only one or two days of the year? You'll find a dozen roses in a vase to take home, silk rose petals sprinkled in your bed, your choice of a bottle of champagne, red or white wine, or sparkling cider with two souvenir Hamanassett champagne glasses, a mood setting CD, and a box of Swiss truffles made locally in Chester County. All this for only $95.00 plus 6% tax in addition to the room rate. Please give us at least 48 hours notice. We can also customize packages for you or offer any one or combination of the above on an "ala carte" menu. If you can dream it, we'll try to make it a reality.
