A delightful farmhouse, circa 1700s, originally situated on the dairy farmland of the Marshall family followed by three generations of the Hicks family. The farm is gone, but the farmhouse remains... its charms renewed, offering Brandywine Valley hospitality for a night, weekend or a week. Come on in and stay over.
Foxcreeks B&B is nestled within an over 55 community, named Traditions, just off Street Road (Route 926) that runs behind Longwood Gardens. We are not far from Kennett Square, Willowdale and Unionville, also known as horse country... the most scenic area of Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Our sitting and gathering room with cozy fireplace is adjacent to the Garden Room for sunny and warm weather and breakfast or a complimentary glass of wine.
We offer the most comfortable accommodations. Guest rooms are spacious with comfy beds, beautiful views of the gardens, a swimming pool and nearby pond. Breakfasts are home-cooked and served in our family dining room or cozy kitchen. The aroma of fresh baked pies, cakes, cookies and breads are our specialty! TV is available in our gracious living room as is a game room with a pool table. Relaxation is a priority and we strive to accomplish this for our guests.
We are literally just minutes from Longwood Gardens... we are in their backyard.
A little further down the road in Chadds Ford is the Brandywine River Museum, renowned for the works of Andrew Wyeth, his father N. C. Wyeth and his son Jamie Wyeth; Winterthur, the Hagley Museum, The Brandywine Battlefield Park, The Cheshire Hunt and the other cultural attractions, which have made the Brandywine Valley famous. We also have six vineyards and wineries close by comprising the Brandywine Wine Trail.
