Carbondale (Endless Mountains), Pennsyvania (PA) Bed and Breakfast: In the 1820's the family of Sylvester Johnson, farmers from Connecticut purchased the land and settled here at Crystal Lake. Three of the offspring went on to found the Johnson & Johnson Company of pharmaceutical fame. In the late 1800's the family built a hotel, also known as Fern Hall, on the very spot where the present building rests. People from New York and Philadelphia would come for the cool Summer breezes.
