We welcome you to our 100 acre farm located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Somerset County. We offer a quiet location off the beaten path, retiring with some beef cattle, 1 horse and collie plus bunnies and barn cats. We still raise hay crops with the help of a son-in-law with his long horn steers.

We live in an 1861 two-story farm house that has been in my husband's family for 100 years. Since our children were grown, I decided to open up 3 bedrooms, to guests of which we have greeted some worldwide, as far as Sweden and Israel. We enjoy the interaction and fellowship of all who come our way.

Area Recreation and Things to Do A golf and driving range are within 2-3 miles and 25 minutes brings you to Frank Lloyd Wright's famous "Fallingwater" and newly opened Kentuck Knob. Also nearby is Ohiopyle State Park, famous for rafting and biking. We have 2 State Parks within 2-6 miles, Laurel Hill and Kooser, offering swimming, boating, fishing & hiking. The Glade Pike Winery is also nearby and offers tours. The world famous Seven Springs Ski Resort is just 8 miles down the road and also family oriented Hidden Valley, with excellent cross country.

We have ushered guests to a large local dairy farm to watch milking in progress or to the ill-fated site of the "Flight 93" plane crash (9/11) and the "9 for 9" miners just outside of Somerset.
