From Philadelphia Center City & Northern Suburbs, Central NJ
This trip should be about 2 1/2 hours from most areas.

Take the PA Turnpike west to Exit 286 at PA Route 222. Take 222 south about 15 miles to US 30 in Lancaster. Follow signs for 30 East and continue to the Walnut Street (23 West) exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and travel to the second traffic light (Ranck Avenue.) Turn left at the light and proceed three blocks to the third stop sign (at Clark Avenue.) Turn Left onto Clark and go one block to Cottage Avenue. You'll see Community Hospital at the intersection of Clark and Cottage. Turn right onto Cottage Avenue. Proceed to the end of the block and enter our drive / parking lot on the left. We are at 1105 E. King Street--the corner of E. King and Cottage. We welcome our guests through the gardens at our back door.

From Philadelphia South and West suburbs and Delaware
This trip us usually just under 2 hours from most points.

Go north via either state route 41 from Wilmington Area or 896 from Newark, DE area. Find these routes off US 1 from anywhere in Delaware County, PA. Rt 41 is the well traveled route that's kept snow free--but there are a lot of trucks. 896 is a more scenic route with less traffic. Great for Amish Buggy watching. Follow either route north to US 30. Go west on 30 until you get to Rt 462. Follow 462 1.6 miles to the B&B on the right. Rt 462 becomes E. King Street with no turns. We are on the right at 1105 E. King. Its at the corner of Cottage Street. The Lions Club has a small round welcome sign right at our corner. Turn right onto Cottage and enter our drive / parking lot immediately on the right. We welcome our guests through the gardens at our back door.

From Northern NJ & NY City area
Plan on 3 1/2 hours from Newark, NJ

Take Interstate 78 west through Allentown to US Route 222 at Exit 3. Follow 222 south through Reading to Lancaster - about 30 miles. At Lancaster, follow signs for 30 East and continue to the Walnut Street (23 West) exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and travel to the second traffic light (Ranck Avenue.) From New York State, Scranton & Wilkes Barre, PA and points along I-81
Follow Interstate 81 south to Interstate 78. Follow I-78 east to State Route 501 at Exit 3. Follow scenic 501 south to Lancaster - about 30 miles. Follow signs for 30 East and continue to the Walnut Street (23 West) exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and travel to the second traffic light (Ranck Avenue.) Turn left at the light and proceed three blocks to the third stop sign (at Clark Avenue.) Turn Left onto Clark and go one block to Cottage Avenue. From Western PA, Pittsburgh, Points west in W. VA. and Ohio.
Takes about 4 hours from Pittsburgh.

Follow Interstates 70/76 East to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (also I-76). Follow signs toward Harrisburg. Take State Route 283 South at Turnpike Exit 247. Follow 283 to Lancaster. From State College (Penn State area)
Usually about 3 hours from State College.

Follow US 322 south toward Harrisburg. At Harrisburg, follow the I-283 Loop east to State Route 283. Take State Route 283 South at Turnpike Exit 247. Follow 283 to Lancaster. At Lancaster, follow signs for 30 East and continue to the Walnut Street (23 West) exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and travel to the second traffic light (Ranck Avenue.) From Western Maryland (Hagerstown and points West)
About 2 hours from Hagerstown.

Follow I-68 and I-70 east to Hagerstown. Take I-81 north to Carlisle to get on the PA Turnpike East toward Harrisburg and Philadelphia. At Harrisburg, take State Route 283 South at Turnpike Exit 247. About 1 hour 45 minutes from BWI Airport
