A Ghost Hunter's Weekend Pursuit (11/14/2008 thru 11/15/2008) November 14 and 15, 2008 and March 27 and 28, 2009
Do you believe in the paranormal? Are you curious about the equipment used by ghost hunters? This is your chance to get some answers and satisfy your curiosity.
After checking into the bed and breakfast of your choice on Friday and having dinner on your own, join the group for a demonstration on the use of ghost hunter's equipment at The Beechmont Inn in Hanover. You will then move to the haunted Bechtel Victorian Mansion where after a tour of the inn and hearing of their ghostly tales, you can sit in on a lecture on "Spirit Photography during Paranormal Investigations and Every Day Living" by renowned Spirit Photographer, Allen Gross.
After Saturday afternoon on your own to shop or perhaps visit the Gettysburg Battlefield, join the group for dinner at Lulu's Grill and Spirits at the Altland House in Abbottstown. After dinner the group will meet up at Chestnut Hall B&B in New Oxford where after a tour and story telling session you can learn how "Psychic Abilities as a Tool in Paranormal Investigations" are used. This lecture will be presented by renowned Psychic Mediums Allyson and Adele, Psy-Dentical Twins.
After the lecture, you will be guided by Steve McNaughton, Allen Gross and Allyson and Adele in a Ghost Tour of the streets of New Oxford which will conclude at the Barker House Bed and Breakfast with a weekend wrap-up and question and answer session.

Scavenger Hunt Weekend Package Is your group ready for the hunt? Are you able to win the grand prize of a One Night Stay Gift Certificate at Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast on a future visit? Then our Scavenger Hunt Weekend is just for you.
After you check in on Friday afternoon you will attend a Scavengers' Mixer to meet the other scavengers. During the Scavengers' Mixer, you'll be given a list of riddles to solve and a list of participating shops in New Oxford. Your first task will be to solve the riddles. After breakfast on Saturday morning you will hit the streets of New Oxford in search of the items of your solved riddles. The person or team who finds the most correct items, marks them on their answer form, (you do not buy the items) and returns their form on Saturday afternoon will be deemed the winner. A tie breaker will be available because there can be only one Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize is a Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast Gift Certificate to be used on a future visit.
This package includes a two nights stay (for two persons in a room) at Chestnut Hall with breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday mornings, the "Scavengers' Mixer" on Friday evening and a Saturday afternoon mixer at Chestnut Hall when the "Best of the Scavengers" will be awarded their prize at Chestnut Hall.
