Introduction

Chestnut Hall is embodied in Victorian style at its finest. Preserved woodwork, wooden inlaid floors and a chestnut square box staircase will lead you to your private room on the second floor.

New Oxford is known as "The Antique Capital of Central Pennsylvania” and is also a central point for touring Gettysburg, Hanover, York and Carlisle. Lancaster County is also an easy drive east on Route 30.

Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast features three bedrooms with private baths and a 2-room suite. Breakfast is served in the formal Dining Room with house specialties including Eggs Benedict, Belgian Waffles, Breakfast Pie, Baked Oatmeal and occasionally in the afternoon, homemade Sweet Potato Biscuits. The Lady's Parlor offers a warm feeling of old time charm and features a restored Victrola and an Estee Pump Organ. The best spot for relaxing might be in the Gentleman's Drawing Room and Main Parlor with plenty of room to spread out for games or reading.

Walnut Room - Features an attractive bay window with an attached balcony, a

Cherry Room - A tall queen poster bed, bay window and private bath with shower

Mahogany Suite - This two-room suite offers a queen sleigh bed, king trundle
bed in the sitting room, and private bath with shower. 		$130 - $150

Policies...
  • Rates range from $100 - $150 per room, per day, double occupancy. A $20 fee will be charged for each additional person. No more than 2 persons per room without advance permission.
  • Special rates and minimum night stays may apply during holiday and special event periods. Call for verification of rates. Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes.
  • Check-in time is between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Advance arangements are required for Check-in at any other time.
  • Check-out time is by 11:00 a.m.
  • A deposit equal to one night's stay is required for all reservations. The entire balance is due at the time of check-in.
  • Deposits will be refunded for cancellations made 10 days in advance of the earliest reserved date.
  • Visa and Master Card are accepted.
  • We will attempt to make your stay at Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast a pleasant and relaxing experience. With this in mind we do not permit pets, children under the age of 13 or smoking anywhere in the house. Smoking is permitted outside.
  • A full breakfast is provided each morning between 8:00 and 9:30. Coffee and tea is available at 7:00 a.m for the earlier risers. If you have plans for an early departure for travel let us know a day ahead and we will attempt to provide you with a "breakfast travel bag".
  • We will attempt to accomodate your special dietary needs. All we ask in return is to indicate such requests at the time of your reservation.
  • Off-street parking is available for guests of Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast.
