Guest Rooms/Rates

Luxurious Guest Rooms & Suites The twenty rooms and two suites at Carnegie House are individually decorated with a beautiful collection of antiques, Oriental rugs and many modern conveniences. There are rooms with dormer windows and desks, as well as soft-textured rooms with king size canopy beds. Still there are more refined rooms and many rooms with window seats. The variety lends extra pleasure in selecting a favorite. There are remote control televisions, guest regulated heating, and air conditioning. Thick terry robes are provided for guests' use while at Carnegie House after enjoying a luxurious bath in the deep soaking tub or a long, relaxing shower. All rooms have entrance foyers, ceiling fans and sunny windows that open for fresh air. There is a comfortable sitting area with Oriental carpets underfoot. Each has an armoire and two telephones (one of which is equipped with modem response for computer users).

The suites occupy the third floor of Carnegie House. The living/dining rooms are equipped with televisions and telephones, comfortable sofas and deep chairs as well as dining table and chairs. The bedrooms have canopy king-size beds, walk-in closets, televisions, telephones and double doors that lead into a large bath with deep soaking tubs, large showers and vanities with double sinks. There are kitchenettes with microwaves and refrigerators that are stocked with the basic needs for comfortable living. The suites have powder rooms next to the entrance foyer. Rate & Guest Information
  • Room rates are from $175. Corporate rates are available.
  • Corporate rates available upon request.
  • Rates are for single or double occupancy with continental breakfast, complimentary spring water and freshly-baked Carnegie House cookies in each room.
  • Turn down service is available.
  • Check-in is requested after 3 p.m. and check-out by 11 a.m. Late check-ins can be arranged.
  • Luggage storage is available for those leaving after noon.
  • Each guest room is equipped with direct dial telephone, remote control TV, clock radio and individually controlled heating and air conditioning.
  • Rooms are equipped for two adults only. No cots are available.
  • A one night's deposit per room is required and may be charged to Visa, MasterCard, American Express, personal check or corporate arrangement.
  • A refund of deposit, less a cancellation fee, will be made for cancellations received 14 days prior to reservations, except for special event weekends.
  • Rates will be higher for certain Penn State and other special weekends. Please inquire for these rates. Rates are subject to change and do not include tax.
