Lincoln Room
Lincoln Room

Titled in reference to the fine heavy brass columned double bed paired with the single brass spindle bed, the room is surrounded with a fine example of Moses Eaton style stenciling in red and green. Cheery year round, it includes seating, AC, and private-to-you bath with shower across the hall. $125-$135

Codori Suite
At the front of the carriage house addition, this suite has a spacious sitting room with a convertible queen sofa bed (teenagers and children only), television, and comfortable chairs. The master bedroom sports a queen bed, ample storage, and bath with tub and shower. This is currently our only room with central air conditioning. $170-$180

Deck Suite
So named with its own little balcony deck overlooking our garden, along with a queen bed, sitting room with a single day bed (for that youngster or companion), television, A/C, and bath with large shower. $165-$175

Loft Suite
On the third story, this quaint island of privacy not only has a queen bed and AC, but also is architecturally exciting with exposed stone walls, open rafter ceiling, and original wide pine board floors. The seating area includes a large cheery dormer window, a wet bar, and even a television for those who still have to keep in touch with the modern world. Bath has small tub with shower. $170-$180

Battle Room

Decorated with a mix of 19th century antiques, this room sports a Civil War mini ball from the battle in 1863, sunk into the mantle. A queen size bed, writing desk, sitting chair and slipper bench add to its past time charm, while AC and bath with shower give it modern convenience. $145-$155

Battle Room

Garden Room
The quietest room in the house walks directly off our small flower garden in the back of the house. A mix of 19th century decor, AC, a queen bed and walk up bath with tub and shower, make it the favorite retreat of the house. $145-$155

Olde Master Bedroom
A stately rice poster queen bed adorns this room made more gracious by its front street view, morning sunshine, antique accessories and original fireplace (soon to be fitted with gas logs for more ambiance). Your private-to-you bath with shower is across the hall (robes provided). $135-$145

Gettys Room
As part of the renovated 1850's carriage house, this room offers a queen bed, easy access to our house phone and lounge, as well as air conditioning and a private contained bath with shower. $125-$135

Chamberlain Room
In the same corridor as the Brass Room, decorated with colonial stenciling and some primitive antiques, this room includes a double and single bed, seating, AC, and private-to-you bath across the hall with tub and shower. $125-$135

Hoke Room
Located on the second story of the main house, directly behind the original master bedroom, there is room to rest and play a game of solitaire or idle with a book in solitude. A beautiful queen iron bed, AC, and step down bath with tub and shower make it a sweet hideaway, but convenient to everything in the house. $145-$155

The Nook
Our coziest (i.e. smallest) of rooms has a double bed and decor with a later Victorian feel. The petit bath with shower is in the room. With immediate access to the Atrium in the center of the house, this is the place for those who travel light or have an eye to economy. $100-$110

The North Suite
In the second story of 42 York St., (our annex adjacent to the stone house, circa 1850-1900), one walks into an inviting sitting room with a queen sofa bed, comfortable chairs, writing desk, cable TV, and a gas fireplace. The bedroom has a queen size cherry colonial pediment bed and matching bureau, and en suite full jacuzzi tub and shower bathroom. Window unit ACs. $175-$185

The South Suite
Also in the second story of 42 York St. and accessed by its own private entrance, this suite's sitting room has lots of light, a comfortable double sofa bed, reading chairs, card table, and cable TV. The master bedroom has a hand painted queen size bed with a marble-top bureau. En suite full jacuzzi tub and shower bathroom. Window unit ACs. $160-$170
