The innkeepers live on the premises and are always available to assist you in any way. Hershey is only about 45 minutes away; Gettysburg about 1 hour, 15 minutes; Philadelphia 1 hour, 15 minutes; and beautiful Longwood Gardens 45 minutes hour away.

| Take a step back in time by touring the surrounding farmlands during the planting and harvest season. Lancaster County's Plain People are composed of Amish and Mennonite. | They strive to preserve traditional family values by resisting modern conveniences. | To obtain a closer understanding of the Amish, you may wish to have us arrange an evening dinner with an Amish family in their home. Advance notice for reservations is required. |
If you prefer, visit an Amish quilt home shop, take a buggy ride, wander through a farmers market, or visit the famous horse auctions. In addition, we are near one of the largest antiques areas, a noted golf course, and a county park with many miles of hiking and biking.

Stay in one of five rooms, or our Family Suite now available, all with private baths in the rooms, A/C, cable TVs, and very comfortable beds. The sound of the Amish buggies clip-clopping outside accompanies you as you are escorted to your spacious guestroom. At the end of a busy day relax in a 6-person jacuzzi. Advance scheduling required for private use. |
