Welcome to the Bella Vista B & B. Our bed & breakfast is a stately beauty featuring a post Victorian architectural style copied from a New Jersey home. Through the six owners, most of the original features have remained the same or have been enhanced. In 1995, Bella Vista was chosen as a local site to be featured as a "CATS MEOW" collection of historical buildings.

In 1912, the original owners, inspired by what they saw, wanted to share their pleasures with the world. The actual sign Bella Vista, which means "beautiful view", still hangs on our front porch. Original trees have grown tall and stately. They enhance the grace and dignity of the quaint setting, and a large lawn and quiet garden add to the serenity of the scene.

Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast offers six elegant guestrooms each tastefully decorated in a different décor. Some of our rooms will accommodate a rollaway bed at an additional cost. All guestrooms are air conditioned, and some have data ports for internet access and TV's on request and availability. The large beamed ceiling sets the tone for the family room. The crackling fireplace lures our guests to gather round and warm up when there is a chill in the air. There is a TV for those who prefer to catch the news and weather or their favorite program.

The dining room has large bay windows, a beautiful chandelier and a red oriental rug. It will accommodate 12 to 14 guests who might feast on a full-course, country style breakfast of juice, coffee, tea, or milk; blueberry or cranberry nut muffins; apple and cheese dish; fresh fruit in season; and oven French toast with bacon, sausage, or ham. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day.

Guests of the Bella Vista have a variety of choices from all parts of the spectrum. Relax in a quiet, rural setting, walk through a small country town, or enjoy the many attractions available in the area. We pride ourselves in being very centrally located. For your added pleasure, a fifty-acre park is located right across the street featuring a playground, pond and many trails. We are only minutes from several of Lancaster County's finest restaurants, or with advance notice, we can arrange for you to have dinner with a local Amish family.
