Every room at the Battlefield Bed & Breakfast has a theme dedicated to the units which fought on the South Cavalry Battlefield. The four Union and four Confederate guest quarters are all appointed with handmade quilts, civil war art, (which is related to their theme), and private baths.

Sleep in the original 1809 master bedroom when you take General Merritt's Suite
General Merritt's Headquarter's Suite
General Merritt's Headquarter's Suite. The entire floor of Cornelius Houghtelin's historic 1809 farmhouse is yours to enjoy. This suite comes complete with a fireplace, private sitting room and spacious bathroom. Perfect for romantic getaways, or for just visiting Gettysburg in style.

1st Texas Infantry. This large and airy room has two double beds, a vaulted beam ceiling, and a view of the historic farm & battlefield.

Graham's Artillery Battery. In the first floor of the 1809 farmhouse you will be enchanted by this cozy room. The fireplace, beamed ceiling, and rustic chestnut floors have been restored to their original beauty. Look out your window and see the position of Graham's Artillery. Reilly's North Carolina Battery Suite
Reilly's North Carolina Battery Suite. The perfect family room, Reilly's suite includes a queen-size bed in the main room and two comfortable twin beds in the adjacent room. A picture window overlooking the pond rounds out the suite. As part of your historic visit, the charm & atmosphere of the 1809 farmhouse awaits you.
Hart's Battery. A romantic canopy bed and granite wall add to the charm of this tastefully appointed room. Hart's is dedicated to the Confederate artillery unit, whose position can be seen from the window.

Rush's Lancers. Pamper yourself with Victorian lace & frills. This elegant room is dedicated to Philadelphia's own lancer unit.

Most rooms can accommodate portable beds for extra guests. The inn has central heating and air conditioning throughout, and all rooms at the inn are non-smoking. Families are always welcome at the Battlefield Bed & Breakfast.

The 7th Georgia Infantry. Sleep under portraits of Lee and Jackson, dreaming of Magnolia flowers and days gone by. A mural covers one wall, and your view includes the pond and vistas to the South beyond the Mason Dixon Line.

2nd U.S. Dragoons. This includes a Pennsylvania farmhouse decor with a patriotic flavor. Dedicated to those frontier soldiers who returned from the West to fight on this property. The room has a carved oak queen-size bed.

All rates are for 2 guests. Extra guests are $25/night each.
Holiday rates are $20 higher.
Heritage Days rates are $50 higher.
