This circa 1790 log home showcases beautiful woodwork, 2 fireplaces, luxurious furnishings, and Williamsburg-style architecture throughout. Surrounded by wooded farmland and quaint 18th century style homes, this Inn is perfect for a weekend getaway. A unique feature of this Inn is the complete privacy it offers. With 2 bedrooms, the entire house is yours to enjoy alone, or with traveling companions. The Inn sits on over one acre of private land. |

Our Inn is situated in the re-created part of Springfield village, where ten 18th century style homes have been built. The village sits on the hill above the famous Big Spring Stream. What was once a thriving village with commerce is now a quiet, non-commercial country community. The area is known for its beautiful homes and quiet atmosphere. Enjoy long walks, fishing, and biking. Bicycles are provided for your use. The scenic Big Spring Stream is a wonderful place to bike. Watch herons, geese and other wildlife as you enjoy a quiet ride. The winding road that parallels the stream will lead you to the small town of Newville where you can access the Rails to Trails bike trail. This trail follows the old railroad bed and meanders through farm country on its way to Shippensburg. |
