Introduction
A visit to Ashland is always a very special experience.
Your stay at Country Willows will make that experience even more special!
Here's why...
The Setting...
The ultimate country inn, snuggled against a rolling hillside on a lush five acres of farmland, surrounded by the magnificent Siskiyou and Cascade Mountain Ranges.
The Ambience...
Comfortable quiet rooms in a restored 1890s farmhouse, private cottage and barn, with your own "family" of goats, geese, and ducks. Inviting willow furniture on two spacious porches; heated swimming pool open Spring through Fall; and a Jacuzzi, available year-round (perfect after a day of skiing).
The Breakfasts...
Delicious country breakfasts that may include homemade breads, muffins, pancakes, and waffles; fresh fruit; sausage; and a delectable variety of egg dishes. Always served at your own private table in the sunroom or on the front porch.
Ashland is more than Shakespeare...
Of course Ashland, Oregon is world-famous for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, open February through October. But, Ashland, Oregon and Jackson County have other attractions for you to enjoy.
Wine lovers may already know that Southern Oregon presents some unique tasting experiences. Our climate is quite different from the rest of the State, and you'll be delighted to discover the wonders our winemakers can perform with their grapes. You won't want to miss touring the wineries during your visit to the area.
And, yes, there's more, including horseback riding at Ashland's Mountain Gate Stables, Emigrant Lake's giant waterslide and other water sports, such as fishing, boating, or swimming. Experience a bird's eye view of the mountains courtesy of Shasta Valley Balloons in Mt. Shasta, or enjoy a whole range of hiking and mountain biking adventures in the U.S. Forest Service's Rogue River National Forest. Sports enthusiasts may want to consider white-water rafting on the Rogue River. And in winter, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing are spectacular at Mt. Ashland Ski area.
Crater Lake, Oregon Caves National Monument, and some of Oregon's best wineries are only a short drive away. And, Jacksonville, Oregon's famous Summer Britt Music Festival is held only a half hour from the Inn.
And, of course, who can forget about shopping? Ashland and the surrounding towns and cities offer just about every type of shopping experience one could hope for.
For many of our guests, the real highlight of an Ashland visit is the chance to dine at one of our many spectacular restaurants. Or, you may simply want to sit by the pool, have a soak in the Jacuzzi, grab a good book, and just unwind in the pampering surroundings of Country Willows Bed and Breakfast Inn.
Not quite your home away from home...
While only a seven minute drive to the center of Ashland, perhaps you'll just want to relax at the Inn and let us spoil you. Enjoy sweeping mountain views from Adirondack chairs on the lawn...or slip on a cozy white robe and lie back with a good book by the pool or in the comfort of your room... work a puzzle or play a game in the den by the
fireplace...and, of course, indulge in our complimentary cookies.
For our business traveler guests, a computer with high speed internet
access is available in the den. Wireless access is available in all
rooms.
