Our park-like setting is unequaled on the Oregon coast. This is a great place for watching birds, sunsets, and even storms! Watch the waves while relaxing in lawn chairs or stargaze while enjoying the outdoor firepit. Walk down our gently sloping trail to the beach and tide pools.

Our rooms have magnificent views through spacious windows of the ocean and spectacular Oregon coast line. Fireplaces, new, superbly comfortable pillowtop queen beds and private baths make for the perfect beach retreat. Located at the north end of Newport, Tyee Lodge is just a few minutes from all of the attractions, including the Bayfront, Hatfield Marine Science Center, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Nye Beach historic oceanfront village, and two lighthouses. Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area stands just north of Tyee Lodge, offering trails, tide pools and dramatic ocean views.

along the bluffs of peaceful Agate Beach in Newport.

Breakfast is served family style in our ocean view dining room each morning at 9 a.m. We cater to special diets, and will provide breakfast in bed for special occasions. We strive to keep our meals low in fat and cholesterol.

Complimentary Beverage Bar

Throughout the day the beverage bar is available with hot beverages: coffee, teas, cocoas, and spiced cider. There is a small refrigerator stocked with sodas and wine, and plenty of room to store your snacks! A microwave is also available. We supply the popcorn, light and healthy, of course!

Important! Driving Directions:

From Hwy. 101 turn west on 49th street towards the ocean.
Continue straight down the hill (49th becomes Woody Way).
Tyee Lodge is on the right.
