Introduction
After a full day, you'll love the peace and tranquility of this romantic, cozy getaway. The Old Parkdale Inn is the perfect base for all your favorite outdoor adventures such as kayaking, windsurfing, skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. Mt. Hood Meadows, Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, and Timberline ski areas are only a short drive away, as is the vast Mt. Hood National Forest where trails and wildlife abound.
Browse through shops filled with local art, dine in fine restaurants, and tour wineries. Celebrate Lewis and Clark's 200th anniversary at one of our area's many dynamic museums. The Old Parkdale Inn is only a one hour drive through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge from Portland, Oregon.
The Old Parkdale Inn is a unique, restful lodging accommodation experience for the weary traveler. Our guest rooms have queen beds and private baths with showers and tubs. The rooms also include a TV, VCR, hairdryer, alarm clock, fan, heater, and complimentary toiletries. Our lofty attic contains videos, books, games, and puzzles for your enjoyment. A guest phone is available, and we also have wireless internet. Use your computer in your room or while relaxing in an Adirondack chair by the pond.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast of Northwest delicacies in our dining room or delivered to your room. Though our menu changes with the season, you can expect a fresh baked pastry or fruit, blueberry scones, baked apples, or baked ginger pears to start your breakfast followed by an entree of perhaps Broccoli/Mushroom Quiche, Italian Frittata, Orange French Toast, or Apple/Pecan Crepes. Fresh homemade granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit are always available, as well as plenty of coffee, tea, and juice. We serve locally grown, organic foods whenever possible. Enjoy a cup of steaming hot coffee in the gardens. Step out and sample the fresh plums or raspberries from the patch out in the garden. It's a perfect way to start your day!
