Hopewell Bed & Breakfast is an escape from the ordinary! We invite you to share our beautiful oasis in the farming community of Hopewell. Sitting on 12 acres in the wine country of Yamhill County, our rooms offer both serenity and all the creature comforts of home. We have two large guest rooms (530sq.ft.), each with private access and decks that overlook our pasture, pond and the Amity-Eola Hills. The Lakeside Lodge has a cabin theme, private bath with a claw-foot tub and a shower and a king size hickory log bed. There is also a koi pond & waterfall in front. The Country Cottage also has a private bath with a large shower and a queen size bed. Both rooms have kitchenettes, satellite TV, DVD, WI-FI, individual thermostats, robes, queen size convertible sofas and barbecue. The rooms are joined by a common deck for socializing with friends, family or other guests or just relaxing in the hot tub. Your hosts Mike & Penny Walsh have lived in Hopewell since 1980 and opened the bed & breakfast in 2005. It has been a fabulous experience from our very first guest! We have met people from all around the country and the world. In all honesty most have come here not to see Hopewell, but to taste the wine & explore Oregon. |

Breakfast is a warm and hearty country fare, always served with fresh fruit (local whenever possible). Penny is quite famous for her pecan French toast. Breakfast is served in the comfort of your room or weather permitting on your deck. We are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs. We are about one hour from the Portland Airport, the coast, Silver Falls or the Oregon Garden. We are 15 minutes from Salem, McMinnville or Dundee. Our county boasts more than 120 wineries, three breweries, numerous top tier restaurants and Evergreen Aviation Museum with Howard Hughes "Spruce Goose". If you prefer to just kick back on your deck, our cows & calves are happy to entertain you. They are always such showoffs. If that is not exciting enough for you, you can always help Mike muck out the barn. Just kidding... unless you really want to. |

We have a large pond that is well suited for swimming or just floating in an inner tube when the weather permits. If you like to fish we have all the gear and lots of bass and blue gill that are eager to help. Just contemplating life on the dock or sleeping in the hammock is nice at times too.
Stop by any time for either a visit or a stay. If marriage is in your future our property is also a great setting for weddings and receptions. |
