This peaceful room abounds with sweet peas and butterflies. You can study the names of butterflies as you sit on "The Throne". Queen canopy bed surrounded by lace. Private bath, but can you find your sink? If so, price is $89.

"The Bird Meadow"

Sleeps four. "Little Hummers' and "Bird Meadow" both with bird motif, share a bathroom filled with birds also. Each bedroom has a queen canopy bed. $89.

"The Rose Bower"
What is a bower? The archaic meaning of "bower" is a lady's boudoir in a medieval castle! This one has a a cozy Queen canopy bed and a view of the North Garden, lawn and 100 year old Victorian church. Lowest level. Private bath. $95.

"Leopard's Lair"
Serengeti wallpaper. Leopard, cheetah, lynx, wallpaper with old fashioned claw foot tub. View of church, River, North Garden. Lowest level. $76.

"The Iris Garden"
Wake up to morning sunbeams streaming through bay windows in the sunny south side room. Lilac and Iris motif. Views of the Astoria olumn, treetops and nearby Victorian homes. Queen bed, and on canopy twin bed. Private bath. $96.

"Cloud 9"
Wonderful view of Washington State mountains, river, and the rolling clouds dictated the cloud motif. Queen bed and a daybed. Private bath $109.

"Anastasia's Room"
Cozy, small room with pink petal paper. View of Victorian homes and treetops. shared bath $66.

"Peaceable Kingdom"
Sleeps four. Old fashioned claw foot tub with ring shower. "Rose Bower" and Leopard's Lair" combine to make this family unit. 2 Queen beds. $129.

"Cloud 9 Suite"
Sleeps five. "Cloud 9" and "Secret Garden" combone to provide 2 bathrooms, 2 Queen beds and a twin daybed. $188.

"Treetops Suite"
Sleeps four. "Treetops" and "Anastasia's Room", each has a pedestal sinke and mirror, so each one spends less time in the bathroo. 2 Queen beds. $141.

"Bird Tweet"
Sleeps four. Two single bedrooms, each with one queen canopy bed. "Little Hummers" looks over Columbia River. "The Bird Meadow" has bird books and song bird wallpaper. Bath between the 2 rooms. $101

  • Rates are for two people per room in high season: March 17 to October 31.
  • Ask About Low Season Low Rates!
  • Each additional person in room is $15 more.
  • To avoid confusion and disappointment, please state names of all persons in your party. Small Conference groups, Business persons, Singles, Married Couples, & Families with children above 10 years will be most welcome.
  • Group rates can be arranged.
  • Commercial rates for people who will be staying here frequently.
  • Please call us by 10a.m. the day BEFORE your expected arrival if you need to cancel.
  • Check in time 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Check out is 11 a.m.; except on Sunday it is 10 a.m.
  • We will hold your reservation for 1 week awaiting your check. Credit cards will hold your reservation if full amount due has been approved. If arriving after 8 p.m., please mention it for special arrangments. (A "guaranteed" reservation means that you will be charged for your one night whether you arrive or not.) We accept only guaranteed reservations.
  • Cancellations received a full 24 hours before date of stay receive full refund on a single room or a two bedroom suite.
  • All rooms subject to local tax.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Directions: From Interstate 5 use Highway 26 and 101 or Highway 30 to Astoria. In Astoria, go south on 16th Street, four blocks up hill and away from Columbia River. Streets are alphabetical. Look for lighted turret as you approach Grand Avenue. Turn right on Grand Avenue. Two lamp posts and sign at second house on right.
