 Seaside, Oregon (OR) Bed & Breakfast: The inn features 10 guestrooms, all with private baths, queen-size beds, color television, private parking, in-room telephones and a full breakfast. Our breakfast room seats 16 comfortably and the morning sun floods the room. The house features the 1892 natural fir tongue and groove ceilings and walls on the first two floors. The parlor features a large fireplace and is filled with flowery country French furniture and antiques. The Gilbert Inn is one block from the ocean and one block to Broadway.

The Gilbert Inn is located nineteen miles south of the Oregon and Washington border on the scenic Oregon coast. The eighty mile drive from Portland to the Gilbert Inn takes about an hour and a half. From Seattle, the drive takes three and a half hours.

Seeking to provide you with respite and romance, the Gilbert Inn is only suitable for children twelve years and older. The Gilbert Inn cannot accommodate smokers or pets. We provides complimentary wireless DSL Internet access.

The Gilbert Inn, built in 1892, still looks much as it did back then; the fireplace still burns in the center of the parlor; the natural fir tongue and groove ceilings and walls still retain their warmth and glow. The ten guest rooms are inspired by the Victorian era, echoing charm and elegance from the last century. Each room offers queen sized beds, down quilts, cozy comforters, period furnishings and family heirlooms. It all mingles together with a natural emphasis on comfort for our guests.
