The C.H. Bailey House is a historic, elegantly-appointed, country-quiet retreat in the Land of Umpqua. A fly fishing haven, gateway to Crater Lake, award winning wineries, and a dynamic music scene make this destination an idyllic lodging experience. Nestled in the Deer Creek Valley, the C.H. Bailey House is a historic farmhouse built in 1909 by Dr. Clarence H. Bailey. Surrounded by rolling hills, pastures, and a 50 acre Christmas tree farm, you will find many scenic places. Come relax with a book, star gaze, bird watch or soak in the hot tub. Or, maybe you're looking for adventure. Hike to a local waterfall, white water raft, mountain bike the North Umpqua Trail, take a guided fishing trip, wine taste, go antiquing or golfing. It is all close by. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, adventure, or rest for a weary traveler, the C.H. Bailey house is right for you. |

Guests will be delighted by the gourmet selections offered each morning, such as carrot cake pancakes with cream cheese topping, grapefruit mint granite, chicken and apple sausage and many more. Wine and appetizers are offered every afternoon and complimentary beverages are available in our guest refrigerator 24 hours a day. There are several places to enjoy a gourmet breakfast at the C.H. Bailey House. Perhaps you'd like a romantic breakfast for two in your room. Or, cozy up by the fire in the dining room. Sit at a large dining room table with other guests or enjoy an intimate breakfast at a private table. Relax on the cool front porch and watch the cows graze and the birds play. Or, maybe you'd prefer a view of Mount Dodson from the back deck. And, finally, you might like a table and chairs set up in the field, under a tree, looking out onto the Christmas tree farm. At the C.H. Bailey House we like our guests to have options. The choice is yours! A friend once counted 17 places on the property to enjoy coffee (or wine).
