 The Barron Room has a carved wooden bed providing a queen-sized refuge and Flat-screen TV with cable. French doors connect the bedroom to a spacious bathroom with antique clawfoot tub and separate walk-in shower. With windows on three sides of this pair of rooms, the views are wonderful.

The small two-story brick building is the most unusual part of the Ashland Mountain House. This little structure echoes both the Old West and Rapunzel's tower. The ground floor of the brick building has small square windows and the feel of a ship's cabin. A double brass bed occupies a sleeping nook next to the bathroom with clawfoot tub and separate walk-in shower. On the upper floor, the ceilings rise to a 10-foot center and tall windows open the space to light and views. Here exposed brick walls surround an imposing Empire bed, with a gorgeous red and gold rug underfoot. The upstairs sitting area features a leather club chair and flat-screen TV with cable. No ordinary place, this building offers unusual privacy and haunting charm.

Policies
  • Check-in: 3 - 7 p.m.; Check-out: 11 a.m.
  • Rates are based on double-occupancy.
  • Each additional occupant is charged $25 per night.
  • Children 12 years and older.
  • No pets, No smoking.
  • Rates include breakfast and parking and taxes.
  • A one-night deposit, per room, is required when making reservations.
  • We gladly accept Visa and MasterCard; and your personal check, traveler's check or cash are also welcome.
  • If you send your deposit by mail we will hold your reservation for one week, pending receipt of your deposit.
  • Your deposit must be received at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.
  • If you need to cancel a reservation, we will refund your deposit, less a $20 cancellation fee, as long as we receive your cancellation more than 30 days prior to the arrival date in High Season or more than 15 days prior to arrival date in Low Season.
  • If you cancel after that time, the deposit is forfeited.
  • There are no refunds in the event of an early departure.
