Cottage Grove, Oregon (OR) Bed & Breakfast: The Apple Inn is nestled in a forest on the family's 190 acre tree farm, yet only 6 minutes from town. Our inn is quiet, private and lovely. The rooms are decorated in elegant country and have antiques and handmade quilts. The Apple Orchard room has a queen bed and two twins with a sitting area and private entrance. The Tree House room has a queen bed and a claw footed tub for a bubbly soak.

Guided Forest Tour
The Apple Inn is owned and operated by Home Economist Kathe and Professional Forester Harry. Harry would love to show off his award winning work in forest management. You may hike or drive and choose the time alloted to fit your schedule. Allow at least 1 hour. The basic tour is offered at no charge with advance request and depends on the available time that Harry has. Kathe can prepare a picnic lunch if you have any room after eating her five course breakfast. Harry will teach you the names of the trees along with other flora and fauna. He welcomes your questions about preserving the forest environment for our future.

Special Celebration Package
The Apple Inn will put together a special package that includes a night at our B&B with a 5 course breakfast. We suggest dinner, a rented movie or a date at our local live theater, beautiful flowers, chocolate candy or dessert at the Inn, a special wine or a sparkling cider. We can arrange it in a lovely basket if you like. Give us a call or email to discuss what you would like. Price depends on your budget.

Bicycle and Picnic
The Apple Inn will pack you a special picnic lunch as you head off to our well known Row River bike path that leads you along Dorena Lake. You can begin your ride in downtown Cottage Grove or drive out to the lake to begin the ride. The distance is 26 miles but you can do just a part of it if you wish.
You can also plan a day of biking by heading out to the local wineries in Lorane. Some endurance is required for this adventure and be sure to take a backpack for the wine you will wish to bring back for the evening at the Apple Inn with a soak in the hot tub. The cost of the picnic is dependent on your choice of menu.
