A working farm dedicated to organic methods in growing fruit and producing honey and maple syrup, Springmead incorporates the very best of the past with the amenities of the present. The original farmhouse of 1875 has been renovated to include two separate sunrooms, professionally decorated guestrooms, and a spiral staircase. A separate library with satellite television and VCR, as well as a large dining room with a two-way fireplace, sets the stage for peaceful reflection. The hardwood floors, and pine doors and baseboards are all original to this Century Home.
Experience the country life by leisurely walking back to our springfed pond and hardwood forest. Peacefully experience deer, rabbit and a variety of birds living in their 250 acre natural habitat. Or, request a guided tour of the maple syrup operation, apiary, and A-frame cottage.

To reserve a view over English style gardens and sleep soundly in the queen bed, select the Mapleton Room. $85 per night double occupancy. Or, choose the Peel Room, a large room furnished with both a double bed and a pull-out double couch, separated by sliding doors for privacy, overlooking productive farmland. $85 per night double occupancy or $40 per night for single occupancy. A shared balcony overlooking Springmead's Apple Orchard is included with Mapleton and Peel Rooms. The original "hired hand's room" has now been transformed into a luxurious bathroom with a step-up Jacuzzi and shower to be shared between guests in the Mapleton and Peel Rooms.
The oversized Wellington Room is bathed by light through four windows, both rising and setting sun bath it with light. The queen size bed, paired with
the ensuite bathroom is $95 per night for double occupancy.Awaken to the sound of birds and the delicious smell of organic cider, and homemade bread, muffins and jam and local additive free eggs and bacon.
Located in Goldstone, Ontario Springmead Organic Farm Bed & Breakfast is located close to three major cities of culture and education. The Drayton Festival can be reached within a mere five minutes and the Stratford Festival can be enjoyed within thirty minutes.
