We welcome you to the River's Edge Bed & Breakfast, a circa 1920's home set in an ideal location on scenic River Road, overlooking the spectacular Niagara Gorge. We are a leisurely 10 minute walk to the falls or casino. The River's Edge, established 1978, is one of the original River Road tourist homes. We strive to continue a tradition based upon hospitality and value.

Introduction

River's Edge Bed & Breakfast is one of the original tourist homes located on historic River Road with a breathtaking view of the Niagara Gorge. The home has been painstakingly renewed while maintaining its original character. Each bedroom is decorated with comfort in mind. One room is furnished with the original owners bedroom suite purchased in 1904. All rooms feature full cable TV and air conditioning with ensuite baths. The large sitting room and dining room feature 600 square ft of original oak floors. Enjoy your morning coffee on the verandah with a magnificent view overlooking the Niagara Gorge. Great locations on the Niagara River with a leisurely 15 minute walk to the Falls, Casino and other local attractions. Room #2 		Our dining room is located at the front of the house, and enables guests to have their breakfast overlooking the Niagara Gorge. This room has an exquisite turn-of-the-century crystal chandelier. We also encourage our guests to use the main room or veranda; both have magnificent views of the gorge. Breakfast is served from 8 till 9 am and consists of:
  • A Variety of Teas & Coffee
  • Fresh Juices
  • Fresh Seasonal Fruit
  • Freshly Baked Muffins, Bagels and Italian Bread
  • A Variety of Cereals
  • Additional breakfast foods are provided as per request

Guestrooms Features
Room 1 Take pleasure in this spacious room with one bed and a beautiful ensuite bath. After taking in the breath-taking view of the falls, enjoy a relaxing evening in your room decorated with turn-of-the-century cherry wood furniture. This room is fully equipped with an air conditioner and cable T.V.
Room #2 This room, which is decorated in quality Roxton Colonial furniture, provides a cozy, warm and comfortable environment. After an adventurous scenic day at the falls, you can lounge in your room, furnished with one bed, ensuite bath, air conditioner and cable T.V.
Room #3 This room is designed for families, or couples traveling in groups. It is our largest suite and consists of three separate rooms. The largest room is furnished with two beds, air conditioner, cable T.V., and an extra large ensuite bath. The smaller room features a private sitting area for our guests to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Included is a third bed, air conditioner and cable T.V. This room also provides a spectacular view of the Niagara Gorge.

Rates and Policies

  • Rates from $75 weekdays and $100 weekends.
  • Rates are per night, per room, double occupancy.
  • Extra person charge $10 CDN funds.
  • Includes a very nice continental gourmet breakfast.
  • We only accept US or CDN cash and traveler's checks.
  • Credit Cards are not accepted.
  • Your reservations will be held until 6 PM without deposit.
  • Other arrangements may be made.
  • Check-in: after 2 p.m. or by arrangement.
  • Check-out: 11 a.m.
  • All taxes included.
  • Children are OK, but please no pets.
