Introduction

Ambiance is an elegantly appointed Victorian home built in 1904 and located in a quiet area of downtown Ottawa.

You can park your car and walk everywhere, as we are minutes away from all major tourist attractions and business activities. Parliament Hill, museums, excellent restaurants, nightclubs, The National Arts Centre, casinos, antique shopping and more are all at our doorstep. The famous Rideau Canal and our beautiful Byward Market are also just steps away, along with all the festivals that Ottawa hosts.

For those into nature and outdoor fun, we are centrally located to many trails and activities. We are conveniently close to many major public transit routes.

If a quiet getaway is what you prefer, curl up with a good book, or that special someone, in front of our fireplace, turn on some music and relax.

We offer four beautifully decorated rooms, two with ensuite bath, and all with high-speed internet access. Twin, Queen or King size beds and cots are also available. We have on-site parking and central air for your comfort and convenience. We also provide an iron and ironing board, and a small refrigerator and microwave for our guests. Complimentary coffee and tea is also available to you in the evening. Our living room provides you with a place to read, listen to music, watch TV or just relax in front of the fireplace.

  • Rates range from $75 to $110 (Canadian) per night
  • Cots available upon request. Each additional person per room is $20.00.
  • Check IN/OUT times can be flexible to suite your travel needs. Please inquire at the time of your reservation.
  • Please note that your reservation must be secured with a valid credit card number at the time of your reservation.
  • We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Travellers Cheques and Interac/Debit.
  • Note that we have a 3-day cancellation policy. Visit our home site for full details.
  • There is no smoking inside the B & B
  • We are sorry we cannot accommodate your pets.
  • Ask about our various discounts. Family package, Government rates, Stays of 5 nights or more, booking two rooms or more, or if you book the entire house. Discounts cannot be combined, some conditions may apply.
