Introduction
A quiet country setting but close to downtown and area attractions!
Innkeepers, Lionel and Johnita Turner warmly greet you. Soon you sense the truth cast in bronze by the door...
You don't have to thank us or laugh at our jokes,
Sit deep and come often;
you're one of the folks!
We are close to I-35 with easy access to OKC, the horse race track, zoo,
National Cowboy Hall & Western Heritage Museum, and other area attractions.
A gazebo invites you to sit on a quiet safe gated two acre wooded lot just four miles from the heart of Oklahoma City. Summer breezes filled with cicada songs and darting fireflies from the woods bring the wind chimes call to magic moments. Memories of carefree days of youth in summer wash over you when with special ones, time and conversation seem to sparkle. Enjoy the fascination and reflect by the water gardens filled with exotic koi fish. Ducks and geese fly close overhead and rich colors surround you from the work of artisans, antiques, primitive Americana, and the gentility of English riding country.
The stately Tudor style stone was opened as a bed and breakfast in centennial 1989. Comfort and pleasure abate an evening chill and winter storm. Guests may bring favorite diversions, e.g. VCR tapes or just drop off luggage before dining in one of the area's restaurants (menus available). Country quiet, handmade linens and ironed sheets on comfortable beds assure your satisfaction.
All rooms have private baths. A full breakfast complements your stay at Willow Way. It is often served in sunshine near the windows in the great hall with a vaulted ceiling and traditional fireplace. Scones, the cook's specialty, and a fruit compote begins the feast. Special diets are honored but the usual fare includes a special meat obtained from a secret shop in Arkansas, a stuffed waffle or an egg dish served with biscuits.
