Introduction
Sulphur Springs Inn, the last of the fine old bathhouses that once
dotted Oklahoma.
... located midway between Dallas and Oklahoma City in
the Arbuckle Mountain Region.
The Inn offers you an opportunity to experience the serenity of days
gone by. Our sanctuary of healing waters offers a turn-of-the-century
atmosphere of simple elegance and appreciation for nature; providing
you a brief retreat from the pressures of modern living.
Mornings in the Arbuckles is Nature's refrain for its woodland spirits. We welcome you to join us for daily meditation and nature walks or you may choose to gently sway peacefully in the hammock under our old pavillion.
You may want to soothe your spirit with a full-body massage in our candle-lit room of scented oils and soft music. Our therapist will provide you with a total body treatment that nurtures your skin, relaxes the muscles and awakens your senses.
Having cared for yourself, you may be ready for some playtime. We have
an assortment of parlor and yard games. We also have bicycles of all
sizes for that early morning or dusk ride through the park. For the
more romantic or adventurous, we have canoes for use in nearby and
placid Veteran's Lake.
Our Inn is nestled at the edge of the old Sulphur Springs Reservation,
formerly the Platt National Park, and now the Chickasaw National
Recreation Area.
Walk out our front door and immediately experience
the healing touch of the mineral springs, unique flora, fauna,
geological formations and abundant wildlife of our sacred valley.
The park provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor activities;
hiking, biking, swimming, boating and fishing as well as educational interpretations conducted year-round.
The sister cities of Sulphur and Davis invite you to visit their many
antique shops, gift stores, art galleries and dining establishments.
