Enjoy our home. Rescued in 1997 from years of neglect, the dream is finally a reality. Built in the 1930s of the native red stone by skilled craftsmen, this home was meant to be a showplace. Our guests are constantly amazed by the tasteful construction and comfortable floor plan. Balconies and porches invite you to sit and reflect of days when life did not move as fast. This house was meant to be shared.
Take a stroll. Of the original estate, 7.5 acres still remain. The koi ponds are a part of the original grounds. The wooded, sloping acres are peaceful and serene.

The historic inn has four guest rooms, three of which are suites. Two suites have private balconies that overlook the skyline of downtown Oklahoma City. All rooms have private bathrooms and are tastefully decorated with comfortable family antiques. Homemade cookies, fruit, and sodas are always available in the breakfast room.
The room names follow the theme of the local attractions: Hall of Fame Room, Capitol Suite, Belle Isle Suite, and Cimarron Suite. The Hall of Fame is named for the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum; from The Capitol Suite balcony you can see the new dome of the Oklahoma State Capitol; in The Belle Isle Suite you can imagine days gone by when the Belle Isle District contained lakes, amusement parks, and trolleys. The Cimarron Suite is named for the Cimarron River that gracefully winds thru central Oklahoma.
After a restful evening the guests of the Red Stone Inn look forward to a breakfast prepared by the innkeepers, Mark and Ann Amme. The Amme's combined restaurant experience of over 50 years is only a small testament to the breakfast they serve. Eggs Benedict with Mark's variation of andouille sausage and a hint of tabasco, creamy sausage and brie souffle, puffy apple pancakes, are only a few of the wonderful dishes the Amme's hope to entice you with. If you choose to rise early, many enjoy coffee on the wraparound porch. Late sleepers can rise to the smells of a delicious meal being prepared.
