Step back into history with a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of today's work at Wagner's 1844 Inn in Sandusky, Ohio. This Italianate style, antique-filled home was built by William Simpson, one of the early settlers and businessmen in Sandusky.

Wagner's 1844 Inn is located in the historic Old Plat Area and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This elegantly renovated 1844 vintage bed and breakfast features all the grace and pleasant solitude of the past, along with modern conveniences.

Wagner's 1844 Inn is open year-round for your vacation and travel accommodations. The three spacious guest rooms have private baths and air conditioning. In the morning you will be served a continental-plus breakfast that includes homemade baked goods and fresh fruit.

The Inn is located only one block from Sandusky's historic downtown and two blocks from the Sandusky Bay. You may amble through the gorgeous floral displays of Washington Park; browse through history at the Follett House Museum and the Carousel Museum; take a ferry to Cedar Point or the Lake Erie islands; grab a bite or feast on a complete meal at one of the many restaurants and pubs; visit the boutiques and antique shops; take a dip in the wave action pool; play tennis at Battery Park, or just stroll around Sandusky and enjoy the beauty of the waterfront and the many century old buildings.
