Welcome to the C.M. Spitzer House Bed & Breakfast, a Grande Victorian Queen Anne. We offer cozy guestrooms, a beautiful dining room, relaxing parlor and in season, a splendid Victorian garden. The Spitzer House was built in 1890, and is a fine example of the Queen Anne architecture with Stick-Style design. Inside is an elegant cherry staircase, stained glass windows, 8-foot cherry entrance doors, cherry woodwork, and original warm pine floors. Our Bed and Breakfast is filled with antiques, lacey linens, collectibles and lots of Victorian charm. Guestrooms have queen size featherbeds, cable television, phone, and private bath with claw foot tub and shower. Our Honeymoon Anniversary suite includes a charming pink Jacuzzi for two with mood lights and waterfall spout, king size lace canopy bed, phone, television, VCR/DVD, and CD player. Meet the Innkeepers We purchased The Spitzer House as a family home in 1990. I'll never forget when our realtor first took us through this old Victorian. The porch was falling down, plaster was coming off the walls, and the outside of the house hadn't seen a coat of paint in years, and those were the highlights. But somehow, Dale and I looked past all that, and with a lot of hard work and perseverance, in the fall of 1994 we opened The Spitzer House Bed and Breakfast. What a dream come true.
