Introduction
The President's House was built in 1896 by E. V. Zollars, who was at that time the president of Hiram College. Simply elegant, quiet, secluded and comfortable, the unspoiled Victorian home retains many of the original features cherished by President Zollars and his family. We invite you to take a trip back in time and be a guest of the president.
Located in the picturesque college town of Hiram, The President's House is easily accessible to pristine country roads that will take you to golf courses, Amish country, ski resorts, antique shops and malls in nearby towns as well as Kent State, Aurora Farms Outlet Mall, and Geauga Lake. We can supply local maps and directions.
You will enjoy the first floor parlor, foyer, and dining room, with original stained glass and fret work, furnished with antiques. A breakfast of bacon and eggs cooked to order with a selection of fresh baked goods will be served in the dining room.
The Middle Room has a light blue sponge painted garden motif and can be rented as part of the three room suite or separately for $85.
The Rose Room is a large corner room and has an antique doll motif. It is central in the three room suite but can also be rented separately for $95.
We look forward to meeting you and making you comfortable as a guest of "The President". Please call us for promotions, packages and suite information.
