Step back a hundred years in time in our century-old Victorian home. The Mainstay bed and breakfast, built in 1886, features richly carved oak, spacious rooms, and lovely tin ceilings. Its Queen Anne architectual style was most likely built from a design which appeared in Shopwell's Modern Houses, in 1886. During the 20th century, the Mainstay has undergone outside alterations. The furnishings include many antiques throughout the house.

The Mainstay, located in Louisville, is easily accessible to both Canton and Alliance-less than ten minutes to the east and west. Several colleges (Malone, Walsh, Mount Union, Kent Stark) are located nearby. The National Football Hall of Fame is only minutes away.

Upon arrival, our guests will find a complimentary fruit and cheese basket, accompanied by sparkling espirit in their personal bed and breakfast refrigerator. This repast may be enjoyed in the comfort of their spacious air-conditioned room or in the adjoining sitting room.

All three guest rooms have a private bath and are filled with antiques. Le petit dejeuner or full country breakfast is served between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Secure, off street parking, nearby golf course, walking distance of downtown Louisville, laundry facilities and all the comforts of home are available to our guests.
