Step back a hundred years in time in our century-old Victorian home. The Mainstay bed and breakfast, built in 1886, features richly carved oak, spacious rooms, and lovely tin ceilings. Its Queen Anne architectual style was most likely built from a design which appeared in Shopwell's Modern Houses, in 1886.

Walk or bike the towpath all the way north as far as Cleveland or explore the many antique shops in the area.
