The Jeremiah B. King Guest House, Circa 1873, is named for the original builder and owner. The home retains it's original wedding cake style plaster cornices, marble fireplaces, wood plank floors, doors and moldings, 10-foot ceilings and windows including a rare working exterior pocket-door, all with segmental arch cornices. The home is beautifully decorated and conveniently located within walking distance to the Historic District, shops, and restaurants.

The JB King Guest House offers a unique bed and breakfast experience in a home proud to receive a spot on the Ohio State Historical Preservation List of Hudson homes designated as historical and cultural assets. The home was awarded the HH (Hudson Heritage) Marker in 1980 authenticating its construction date and history. The current owners have made every effort to create an environment that is charming, comfortable and convenient. Guest service also includes information on area events, attractions, local dining reservations, and information for local shopping. Airport transportation can also be arranged.

Guest Rooms

The J.B King Guesthouse offers five suites with each one being named for a previous owner. All suites have different features ranging from mattress size to tubs or showers, entrance location and carpet or hardwood floors. The suites are beautifully furnished and decorated, full of charm and character. The house has zoned air conditioning and zoned heat as well as high speed Internet and cable TV in every room.

A full gourmet breakfast is available every morning at 9 a. m. in the breakfast room. The selections include egg frittatas and salmon eggs, pumpkin pancakes, homemade sticky buns, baked oatmeal, and seasonal fruits. Many of our guests return for the breakfast alone
